Back again. Not dead, just not very many short term projects going on you know? I start simple, but then I complicate things even more or it just becomes more complicated than I think. Mostly the latter.

So I had this idea a while back and decided to work on it for a while. After doing that graduation picture, I've been wanting to do more, but that means hitting more drawing learning curves. So for this one, I stuck to what I know. I know ponies, just not good props and backgrounds yet. That'll slowly come along.

Maybe not slowly though, maybe faster. Got some big changes to my life right now. Moved out to an apartment, and going to a University to learn how the pros do all this stuff.

I was so excited to see how well I passed the last semester to keep a solid GPA, that I made an MLG video of it. I wanted to post it here, but dA isn't a big fan of video, and I thought if I wanted to put it in Flash, I would at least have a preloader for it, but I failed at that. So if you guys want an extra treat featuring my total excitement and narcissism, you can see it here on Google Drive. EDIT: It's now on YouTube.

So anyways, about the photo:

Used the same Flash drawing to Photoshop finishing method, and you can see that I tried my hardest to make the title look, dare I say, perfect. I started working on this shortly after the graduation picture, but then I ended up opening up other projects for other ideas, got overwhelmed, and held it off until recently. Yeah, big problem with me, I need to get things done the moment I feel it, otherwise I end up losing that feel and not know when I'll come back to it. Like its powered by momentum, once it slows, it's hard to get it running again.

Originally wanted it to be full 1080p, but because of the dead space and not having really any idea of what else to show there, I just cropped it out.

What really drove me to finish this one is that I've gotten more watchers, and I haven't posted anything for a while. What's worse than beating a dead horse? Watching a dead horse. So I plan to keep things alive and figure some more simpler projects your eyes can munch on before the big stuff which will probably take a few more years to develop.

See you guys in the next work!
